Ondaheal MD 4 tablets contain ondansetron, which is an antiemetic medication used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. Ondansetron works by blocking the actions of chemicals in the body (serotonin) that can trigger nausea and vomiting.

• Prescription: Ondaheal MD 4 should be taken as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
• Dosage: The dosage depends on the condition being treated:
  • Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting: 8 mg 30 minutes before chemotherapy, followed by 8 mg 8 hours after the first dose. Then, 8 mg every 12 hours for 1-2 days after chemotherapy.
  • Postoperative nausea and vomiting: 16 mg 1 hour before anesthesia.
• Administration: Ondaheal MD tablets are usually orally disintegrating tablets (ODT). Place the tablet on the tongue and allow it to dissolve without chewing. Swallow with saliva; no water is needed.
